Summary Chapters 11-15

Blue Jay has grown out of his baby carrier and now he can walk, dance, and swim good. All the kids in the Seneca tribe go swimming in the river. All the girls have a contest on which team will pick the most berries. Blue Jay saw a snake so he wanted to go touch it, when Molly saw this she grabbed a rock and threw it down to scare the snake. Old Fallenshash comes to tell Molly that her family had been killed by indians. Molly is a hero in the Seneca village.

Summary Chapter 16





The English come and Molly must talk to them. Gray Wolf wants to sell Molly so he can buy fire-water and a white man's suit. Molly has a choice to be sold or to stay with the Indians. Everybody except Gray Wolf wants Molly to stay. She goes to a trial to tell everybody her decision. She said she is going to stay with the Indians.

Molly had a perfectly normal life until one day Indians raided her house and took her captive. Her parents were left and killed. She travels to Seneca town where she is a slave. The Indians raise her and take care of her. one day it is discussed that they were going to move to the rest of their tribe. After two days of walking they got to the rest of their tribe. Now she was Red Squirrel's slave. One day her fellow captive escaped.

They took them a long way then they dropped off the parents and took Molly and her neighbor.They traveled to a fort and they traded her to some ladies.They took her on a canoe to Seneca Town. The ladies gave her some Indian clothes. They took Molly in town, all the girls loved the golden color of the corn, Blond. They called her Corn Tassel.
